The way Bubby looks at me is exactly the way my Great Dane did. I also miss her so much.
Don't think that you didn't take proper car of him when he was small.
Cancer is not necessarily related to upbringing. It's rather caused by environmental facts or let's say by the artificial ingredients in dog food I would say. Also, we mustn't forget that pedigreed dogs are more vulnerable. They are not as resistant as mixed dogs.
Also, don't forget that Bubby knows that you loved him wherever he is.

I'm so sorry for your loss. by: Dmytro Petrov
Dear Mar
I'm sorry for your loss. Bubby is wonderful dog and I'm sure that memory about him will stay in your loving heart forever. Our small friends is our universe, and it is impossible to get our hearts prepared for such loss. There is no limits of their love and loyalty, it is impossible to describe the joy of our small friends each day we back home from work. They understand how we feel and always nearby while we need them. They are always ready to protect us and even sacrifice themselves if required. Sometimes we even don't realize how important they in our live, until it too late.
All my thoughts with you and I hope your pain will pass on. I know that there is no words what can help to reduce your pain right now. Hope there is a person near by who can support you at this hard time. Personally, I spent a lot of time with other my dogs, this helped me much to reduce the pain. Probably, you should take few days off at your job and go somewhere. Might at place you used to visit together with bubby, his favourite tree or bench and remind all happy moment together with him. Probably, later you can take in your house a different dog, the dog who need your love and help. Of course new dog can't replace Bubby ( and no need for it ). I'm sure Bubby would love to see you happy because he always wished only best things for you.
I'm sure Bubby right now together with my Tomas playing under the rainbow bridge. They in the better world waiting for us to come. One day we'll see them again, but so far we should give our love to world around us.
You can always come back and see the page dedicated to Bubby online at http://www.denmarkfacts.com/i-grieve-also-for-my-beloved-dog-bubby.html , this page will stay online as long as this website.
