the Lorelei on river Rhine

Have you heard about the mermaid Lorelei near Koblenz river
Rhine Germany. Perhaps she once came over from Denmark, got lost in the Rhine and liked it too much where she remained.
That mermaid was perhaps born in a drunken mind of somebody who had too much wine from the river Rhine.

Denmark's is associated with beer as I've learned from you. The Rhine is with wine.

Goodness me, what about the Russian Bear and Vodka?
